Collection: Sketchy Thoughts

Sketchy Thoughts is a playful, growing body of work, a parody of the kind of ‘art’ we see for sale today. I guess it's a spontaneous visual diary of what I see around me. Created entirely on my iPad, the sketches come about wherever I happen to be, capturing thoughts before they slip away.

Each piece riffs on familiar artistic tropes with warmth and humour rather than cynicism (well maybe a little bit). Loose, expressive brushstrokes and scrawled text keep things immediate and tongue-in-cheek, quick, irreverent, sometimes sarcastic, but always rooted in the moment.
