This one’s exactly what it looks like, two Dalmatians just sitting there, looking cool. No hidden message, no grand symbolism, just The Boys. The loose brushstrokes and handwritten text give them attitude and presence, proving that sometimes a simple image can say everything without trying too hard. That's that.

The Boys is part of my ongoing series Sketchy Thoughts — a playful, evolving body of work that parodies the kind of ‘art’ we see for sale today. It’s a spontaneous visual diary of what I see and feel around me, created entirely on my iPad — in the bath, on a plane, in the car, or on a beach somewhere — capturing thoughts before they slip away. Each piece is sparked by a passing sentiment, a song, or a fleeting idea, turning quick impressions into lasting images.

Together, the works in Sketchy Thoughts explore humour, perception, and the immediacy of everyday thought — quick, expressive, and rooted in the moment.
