These pieces are lifted straight from the kind of things you’d only hear in Ireland, everyday sayings full of humour, warmth, and a bit of cheek. Short and simple, but packed with character, they celebrate the way we talk to each other, capturing those familiar moments of wit, connection, and identity that live in our language.

Our Belfast Delft tiles are true ceramic piece - Kiln fired to 850°C in our Belfast studio each tile begins as an original watercolour sketch by Stephen. Inspired by the iconic blue and white Delftware of the Netherlands, itself influenced by Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain, these tiles blend tradition with a contemporary, playful spirit. Each piece is reflective and experimental. They tell small visual stories designed to spark conversation.

Each tile is approx. 10cm x 10cm, and it comes with its own little easel.
