Live Love Lidl

ok. This one may be a little piss take of the iconic quote Live Love Laugh, I had to do it. BUT, Northern Irish people do love a Lidl shop!

These pieces come from little observations of modern life, the kind of things you notice and think, that is definitely me, or them.  They are a bit cheeky, picking up on the small habits and oddities in how we talk, act, and carry on in this modern world. Some will feel very familiar, maybe a bit too familiar, but that is the point.

Our Belfast Delft tiles are true ceramic piece - Kiln fired to 850°C in our Belfast studio each tile begins as an original watercolour sketch by Stephen. Inspired by the iconic blue and white Delftware of the Netherlands, itself influenced by Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain, these tiles blend tradition with a contemporary, playful spirit. Each piece is reflective and experimental. They tell small visual stories designed to spark conversation.

Each tile is approx. 10cm x 10cm, and it comes with its own little easel.
