These pieces take playful aim at our relationship with the Irish language, the way we use it, misuse it, and make it our own. From phrases said properly to ones completely mangled, they capture that familiar mix of pride, confusion, and cheek. Irish is a language slipping back into everyday life too, not just in classrooms but through voices like Kneecap, who are bringing it to a whole new audience. 

Our Belfast Delft tiles are true ceramic piece - Kiln fired to 850°C in our Belfast studio each tile begins as an original watercolour sketch by Stephen. Inspired by the iconic blue and white Delftware of the Netherlands, itself influenced by Chinese Ming dynasty porcelain, these tiles blend tradition with a contemporary, playful spirit. Each piece is reflective and experimental. They tell small visual stories designed to spark conversation.

Each tile is approx. 10cm x 10cm, and it comes with its own little easel.
