Familiar Landscapes

Familiar Landscapes

Familiar Landscapes is an evolving body of work where life drawing and clay meet. Fragments of the body, curves and gestures that feel close and familiar, on thrown earthenware forms.

They're not high-brow works, but I'm drawn by the body's form reading like a horizon, a fold of skin becoming terrain. They're not really for sale, I just wanted to show what’s unfolding in the studio, intimate studies that sit somewhere between the sketched and the made, touched, observed, and remembered.

Familiar Landscapes is an evolving body of work.
