Kinsale Harbour, County Cork, is a fishing village in County Cork, Ireland. ItÂ’s about 25km south of Cork City on the coast near the Old Head of Kinsale and sits at the mouth of the River Bandon. Its population increases substantially during the summer months when the tourist season is at its peak and when the boating fraternity arrive in large numbers there primarily for yachting, sea angling and food. Kinsale is very compact with a quaint air of antiquity in narrow weaving streets that are home to some of Irelands best seafood restaurants, one of the reasons why Keith Floyd made himself a resident of Kinsale for many years no doubt! This was one of the scenes I captured as a result of my epic 1400 mile tour weaving around Ireland in February 2013.
