ABOUT these pieces…
Recently I worked with a Staffordshire maker of Fine Bone China tableware in developing a new, limited edition| series of pieces titled – ‘The Cranes’. I wanted to capture Belfast’s most iconic landmark from four different angles, hence the four designs, every element of this body of work has been designed, imagined and made in Belfast and Staffordshire.
The mugs are Fine Bone China with a clean contemporary handle and finish (we only wanted to use the best materials for these special pieces) and we limited run to 296, of the plates, which are also a Fine Bone China, we made 50 of each, in the four designs.
