In 2005 Saint Catherine's College, Armagh, commissioned Stephen Farnan Pottery to create a bespoke piece to represent their school, this inaugural piece was presented to President Mary McAleese of Ireland. The Saint Catherine Bowl is now central to the College's PR, being used as a gift for visiting dignitaries, retiring members of staff and prize giving events. Commissioning begins with a discussion on price, form, glaze options, the application of a logo or crest and the benefits of creating a signature piece for your institution or business.
